No Emirates Cup In 2012
Arsenal Football Club has announced that its usual pre-season curtain-raiser, the Emirates Cup, will not be held in 2012, as a result of London’s hosting of the Olympic Games. Consequently the next Emirates Cup tournament to be hosted by the club will be in 2013. No announcements have been made yet regarding a replacement competition.
